Powerful overhead crane with Q=250/60/10t lifting capacity under construction

Pictured above is the production process of a 250t overhead crane - we see one of the approx. 40t girders being turned during welding work.
The lifting capacity of the overhead crane is 250 tons. The overhead crane will be equipped with two winches - 250 tons and 60 tons, as well as a 10 ton hoist. The span of the crane is 33 meters. Each of the girders is over 3 meters high. The overhead crane will be controlled from a mobile cabin which can be lowered below the level of the girders when the system is working.
The overhead crane is equipped with a number of the latest technology devices which make it possible for the crane to work with other equipment in the Client's production facility, including another overhead crane. Special systems enable very precise work ensuring smooth movements and positioning with accuracy to a few millimetres. The operator of the crane has a large screen showing the weight on the pulley with high accuracy and target position of the transported item.
FUD is fulfilling the order from the design stage to the start up of the completed installation relying solely on the company's own engineering and technological resources. The equipment was ordered by a Client from electromechanical industry. The overhead crane is solely our own production.
